I need some pointers on how to make cloth diapers?

My brother and sister-in-law have decided to use cloth diapers for their soon-to-be baby girl. I thought that since I do a lot of sewing (and am fairly good at it) I could help them out. I’ve done underwear and clothes for adults before, but this is a bit of a new challenge for me.

I like prefolds and covers. I use the Thirsties covers. They have a patented leg gusset you could replicate as long as you don’t try to sell them and break the patent I think.
