Heat Transfer

Which of the three types of heat transfer is this most similar to?
Dominoes are placed upright in a row, one next to another. When one is tipped over, it knocks against its neighbor, which does the same in cascade fashion until the whole row collapses. Which of the three types of heat transfer is this most similar to?
Please explain why as well thanks
I assume you are referring to conduction, convection, and radiation.
Of these, conduction is most like dominoes because it works when objects are touching.
Heat can be thought of as an increased state of molecular excitement. The hotter something is, the faster the molecules are moving. With conduction, the excitement of one set of molecules transfers to the other by direct contact. “Radiation is the transfer of heat energy through empty space.” according to Wikipedia. Radiation is how the sun heats the Earth. This is not like falling dominoes, because there’s no way one domino can affect the other just through space.
“Convection is the transfer of heat energy between a solid surface and the nearby liquid or gas in motion.” Do you see how this is not like the domino scenario?

All You Need To Know About Heat Transfer Material For T-Shirt & Other Garment Decoration
With the advent of modern technology, it has now become very easy to decorate t-shirts and other garments using a heat transfer material. This method of decorating t-shirts and other garments saves you a lot on time, energy and cost. That is why more and more manufacturers are now opting for heat transfer printing for printing on garments and t-shirts. If you want to print a single piece of garment or a t-shirt, then you will not need more than a few minutes to achieve it. If you are a manufacturer, then a modest investment in heat transfer material will help you achieve major profits in the long run.
Inkjet heat transfer papers are the most commonly used heat transfer material. These come in two varieties – for light colored fabric and for dark colored fabric. Inkjet heat transfer paper for light colored fabric is transparent and white cannot be printed using this paper. The color of the fabric will show where it is supposed to show white. In heat transfer paper for dark colored fabric, the image is put on the background and printed. You don’t need to flip it horizontally. White can also be printed using heat transfer paper for dark colored fabric. In fact, this paper itself is white in color.
Another type of heat transfer paper is a color laser printer heat transfer paper. This has not yet become that popular as some research is still going on this field.
The third type, and the one that is gaining huge popularity, is the use of dye sublimation heat transfer paper. A dye sublimation printer is used along with a dye sublimation heat transfer paper for printing on polymer coated substrates. The substrate can be white or in some other light colored fabric. It is essential that the substrate contains polymer. Polymer cotton mixed fabric can be used where the polymer percentage is a minimum of 50%. Dye sublimation using dye sublimation heat transfer paper can also be done on nylon and microfiber fabric. The biggest advantage of using a dye sublimation heat transfer paper is that the finish is simply fantastic and the print cannot even be felt when a hand is run over it. Sublimation ink is translucent in color and white fabric makes the perfect substrate for it. Ash gray and other light colored fabric also make good substrates.
The advantage of a heat transfer paper is that it can be used to print on a variety of fabric types and even on other items where normal printing does not work. If you have the right substrate in the right color, you can create some very crisp and crystal clear designs on the substrate.
Heat transfer technology is one of the latest in printing technology and it is still in its nascent stage. Manufacturers and producers of garments are using heat transfer papers to good effect in producing economic garments and selling them for a good amount of profit.
